What are the main innovations of Qwen3?
Thinking (step-by-step reasoning) and non-thinking (fast) modes in a single model, switchable per query; a thinking budget that caps reasoning effort; strong-to-weak distillation to build small models cheaply; and pretraining on 36T tokens in 119 languages and dialects (up from 29 in Qwen2.5). All models are open under Apache 2.0.
